Blogs Build Relationships
Mood:  chatty

Topic: Blogs
Building relationships is one reason a growing number of small businesses are turning to blogs, or online journals on a Web site. "It gives a human voice to a company," said B. L. Ochman, a New York company President, because "People still do business with people they like and trust." (Chicago Tribune, 1 August 2005).

The relationship of classmates is also personal. One way to keep in contact, and to keep contact fresh, is "to blog".

Welcome to Our New Blog

"Blogs" is a contraction of Web Logs, a record of how you feel and how you think about current events, and any topic that is dear to you. It all started as personal journals on the Web just a few years ago. Next, blogs moved to individuals exchanging ideas and commentary with each other. Just two years ago, there were only 100,000 blogs in existence. Today there are 100,000 blogs created every day! This means there is a new blog every second (Chicago Tribune, 25 July 2005). Our Class Blog is one of the currently 14 million blogs in operation right now! While our Web Site does not afford replies to the class, the blog completes this important function.
